hi,i'm saraa from malaysia.i am a tour leader.i have always been bringing my guests and my family to stay in ungle bell homestay since 2008.the rooms r spacious and clean.morever,it it close to all the activities in thekkady,for example to go tothe periyar lake,kalaripayat n kathakali performances and also kerala massages.mr shaji is also a wonderful man who is always helpful and offers assistance to the guest.i strongly recommend jungle bell homestay.
Wherever I go in India I am told I must go to Kerala. I must go where the hills are green and the rains make the forests lush. Wherever I go I'm told I must go to see the wild animals and the elephants, the trees and the plants. I must go where India is at it's most beautiful. I am told it will be worth it.
With my hopes raised of finding tropical paradise I found my way to Sha Ji's home the Jungle Bells residency. How fortunate I was to find myself here in the little town of Kumily in the Western Ghats. How lucky I was to discover all the natural beauty I had been promised. How the stars aligned that I found not just the natural world but human friendship.
Never have I been welcomed with such generosity and rarely have good friends been made so quickly. I am at home here thanks to the kindness and good nature of the people. We can sit and pass the time with complete ease whether the sun is shining or the monsoons pouring. I hope I will be back soon.
